Fruit Baskets : Banana Tree/Fruit Bowl (Silver) (11"h x 13.5"dia.)

I had the hardest time finding a decent fruit bowl until I saw this one. It is much larger that it appears in the picture. I can easily fit 10 apples in the bottom with Bananas hanging on the hook.. plus they all stay fresh. In fact, my brother saw it and asked where I got it. Now, I am ordering one for him. I haven't been able to find anything close to this in any store. If you have ever been frustrated that the fruit you buy wasn't lasting, try this product because it really extends the life of fruit. Enjoy.

Disco Ball : Chauvet MBK-2 Mirror Ball Party Kit

It's time to disco with this cool mirror ball kit from Chauvet. Set the room spinning when you project the bright pin-spot beam onto the motorized 12 inch mirror ball, and watch the party come alive!

Great value for this product. Only problem is you really need more than one pin light and it is best in a small to medium size room. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Changing Table : Delta Children's Products European Style Changing Table with Drawers in White

I really like the style of this changer. I am impressed with the amount of storage space. The exposed shelf is big enough to fit two big baskets for diapers and changing supplies. The underneath compartment is very large. Also I am impressed that the changing space is wide. My daughter fits on it very well and will for months to come. The only thing I don?t like about it is that the supports under each section seem very flimsy. As my daughter gets heavier I will be buying some more metal supports to help hold her. My husband was very skeptical about this piece when he saw it on the website, but he just recently commented that this was a good choice.

Bread Maker : Zojirushi BBCCX20 Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine

I finally purchased this machine after trying two other models; the Breadman TR555 and 2200C. My parents have had thier Zojirushi S-15 for almost 10 years with no problems and flawless bread. Desiring to enter the bread machine market with limited funds, I decided to try the Breadman TR555. It consistently burned the bread and revealed a "tougher" center. The 2200C was the biggest disappointment of all. Seeing all of the reviews for this machine as comparable to the ZO X20, I found myself with the ONLY two loaves of bread that were simply "duds" (did not rise properly and crust settings were useless) I had ever had out of a machine. Finally, I decided that Zojirushis could simply NOT be topped. I was right. This bread machine has worked wonderfully and reminds me of my parents machine from the early 90's. Mixing is complete and the Preheat function is an absolute MUST for proper ingredient preparation and yeast activity.

Bath Pillow : Duro-Med Inflatable Bath Pillow (Colors May Vary)

I bought this for my mom for christmas. She takes baths almost everyday and wanted a pillow. I searched on ebay to find one with good reviews. The last thing I wanted was to get her a pillow that wouldn't stay inflated. This one does stay inflated and she has enjoyed using it! One problem I see is that the suction cups can come off of the pillow with minimal force. My mom doesn't care because she just leans against the pillow and doesn't use the suction cups, but just a warning. Also, the description and the item box says that it has two valves so you can fill it with water or air but the one I got does not have two valves. It only has one for air. I was disappointed but my mom had already opened it and used it. It does work as a basic pillow though, so if that is what you are looking for, get this one.

Hand Mixer : Cuisinart CSB-76 Smart Stick Hand Blender

Well ok, maybe I am not all shook up so much as BLENDED up. I purchased this immersion blender after my older no name brand unit purchased at Wally World died in the middle of blending a pot of hot soup. I like that you can wash the blenders blade assembly in the dishwasher and the stainless steel shaft is not stained like so many of the ALL PLASTIC models. Another thing I love is the power of the unit and the sharpness of the blades; they will reduce a pot of cream of broccoli soup to a smooth consistency in nothing flat.

Oh and when I say broccoli soup folks, I MEAN broccoli soup. I put nearly two bunches of steamed broccoli in my soup and I only chunk it prior to blending with the immersion blender. This blender will puree` the soup to a perfect creamy texture in nothing flat. (Reserve a few pieces of the chunked broccoli to add back to the soup for texture purposes) I have also used it on my potato and asparagus soups with equally great results.

If you are looking for an immersion blender with lots of power and a "NO STAIN" Stainless Steel shaft then IMO, you cannot go wrong with this model from Cusinart.

Happy Blending!

Ciao!
